This building was the headquarters building for the McCloud River Lumber Company and later the local office for U.S. Plywood and its
successor companies. The McCloud River Railroad and McCloud Railway Company leased the building to house its headquarters from the time the railroad’s own office burned to the ground in the closing days
of 1990 up until a corner of the shop building was re-built into offices about 1993. A fine bed and breakfast now occupies the structure. Jeff Moore collection. |
