In 1927, the Shevlin, Carpenter & Clarke Company, at the time the McCloud River Lumber Company's parent organization, produced a fascinating 34-page booklet titled "Specify Shevlin Pine" that featured all of the company's operations and touted the quality and benefits of the company's products. The company mentioned the booklet in advertisements and instructed interested people to write the company to recieve one. I found this copy of the booklet on the internet some time ago, it is reproduced here. Because it was posted to a Web Archive type of website, I have no information on who originally scanned the booklet, or from what source or collection the original booklet came. |
