McCloud River Railroad : Timetables |

Timetables have played important public and operational roles in railroading since the beginning of the industry. Timetables issued to the public typically showed train numbers, times, levels of service, and connecting service to other trains or modes of transportation so that people could plan trips. Employee timetables provided much of the same information, plus full details on the covered segmant of the railroad, including information on stations, facilities and trackage found at each station, special or modified rules governing train movements in each section, maximum speeds, and a wide variety of other essential details. McCloud River Railroad issued a long sequence of timetables, some issued for both public and employee consumption and then only employee timetables in the later years, cumulating with Timetable #68, issued in 1969. In 1987 the railroad changed its governance of train movements from Timetables and Train Orders to Direct Traffic Control, at which time the company started over at Timetable 1. The McCloud Railway Company has to date issued three timetables. A selection of timetables from throghout the railroad's history are posted below.
