Steam Locomotive #25:
Fourth of July Trips 1998/1999

The McCloud Railway set a standard pattern for its steam excursion program early on. During the July 4th and Labor Day weekends trains would operate between McCloud and Mt. Shasta City, generally going to Mt. Shasta in the morning, running two round trips to Big Canyon through the day, then returning to McCloud in the late afternoon. These are some pictures representative of these trips in the late 1990s.
