McCloud River Railroad : Passenger Operations: Excursion Photos

Steam Locomotive #18:
Trains Unlimited- 10/11 May 2003

Trains Unlimited trips became an almost annual event through the early 2000s. The 2003 trip included the #18 with a photo freight for part of the first day while the #38 shuttled the passengers from one photo stop to the next. At around Bartle the #18 took the passenger consist and headed for Burney while the #38 took the freight consist back to McCloud. The excursion spent the night in Burney, with the riders put up at various local motels, and the train returned to McCloud the following day.
