Along The Line:
Spur 526

After the Widow Valley camp closed down the railroad used the stub remnant of Spur 526 mostly to store work equipment used by the Lookout Junction based section gang. The #37 is passing a speeder, a couple trailers, and a boxcar being used as a tool car in the summer of 2003. Roger Titus photo.

Spur 526. A large pile of dirt covers the end of the spur. The three-track yard used to swap cars between the railroad and lumber company crews working out of Widow Valley lay just beyond the pile. Jeff Moore.
