Ash Creek Junction/Run Around

In the late 1970s the railroad built a loading ramp at Ash Creek Junction, consisting of doors removed from the U.S. Plywood all door cars during their conversion to boxcars creating a cinder filled bunker at the end of a short spur. The structure allowed equipment to be driven on and off flatcars. Jeff Moore.
